"Truly, the Merciers have perfected the art of being innkeepers. They are accommodating, knowledgeable about the environs, and have a light touch with guests. The rooms are comfortable, not luxurious, but quite good enough for a decent nights sleep. And then there's the food. Breakfast comes with the stay, and it's generous: very fresh fruit, imaginative twists on standard fares, and just delicious. They serve dinners here too, and you should eat dinner here at least once, it's amongst the best in the Camden region, and that's saying something. Look to spend about $200 to do it right, knowing that you won't be disappointed in the quality, presentation, or flavor. Chef Mercier, I believe, is quite demanding of his purveyors, and it pays off in the dishes to come out of his kitchen. Engjoy your stay!" -Reviewed Septemeber 2017
"This was my first bed and breakfast experience and it was wonderful! My brother and I and our spouses brought my elderly parents for a beautiful weekend in their favorite area in Maine. Maryanne was such a gracious hostess, just spoiled everyone especially my dad who has gotten a bit fussy lately! The food was wonderful, we could hardly wait to see what Chef Manuel Mercier had prepared each day. The onsite restaurant is intimate and elegant with great French menu with a local flair. Location is great- right between Camden and Belfast with good hikes available close by. I would happily recommend this lovely rustic Inn to anyone" -Reviewed June 2017
