Welcome To The Legend Garden Condos

The Legend faces world renowned Mullins Beach, on the island’s West Coast - the Gold Coast - home of the warm, calm, sparkling Caribbean waters. An enchanting, meandering 200-meter driveway, once an old sugar mill road, leads to the hotel’s semi-landscaped estate full of palms, mango trees and tropical shrubs.

The Legend is a 250-year old plantation, on a 2 ½ acre property, lavished with over 60 coconut and palm trees, some set within a gully, overgrown with trees and vines, lining the north side of the property.

About Us

At the gully’s edge towers a majestic 100-year old plus Bearded Fig tree, also a willowy, age-old Silk-Cotton tree, and if you’re lucky and quiet, at dusk you will catch families of monkeys that come into the trees to feed, all hoping to steal away ripe Jubilee Mangos.

Hummingbirds, geckoes, amazing flowers, all overlaid with the trade winds’ swish of the palms, Will you ever be able to leave, is the question on your minds? An appeal of the old mixed with the new, of the elegant blended into the wild is a manifest aspiration of this establishment.

Accommodations

Within this quiet tropical garden, away from noise, The Legend houses a freshwater pool area, and 9 charming boutique apartments. Enjoy a relaxing stay in either the two-bedroom apartment or in any of the 8 one-bedroom apartments, each accommodating from 1 to 4 people, and each displaying its own distinctive, fanciful style. The Legend's are signature rooms, designed by the owner with flair and a particular attention to details.

The apartments are large and comfortable, with air conditioning available from sundown to sunup, with either single, queen or king-size beds, a cozy dressing room, private bathrooms with tubs and/or showers, a television (local channel) and ceiling fans. Each apartment has a fully equipped kitchen with microwave, refrigerator, stove/oven, toaster, percolator coffee machine and dish ware. Choice accommodations within a lush exotic setting is The Legend’s vacation formula.

One Bedroom Suites

The one-bedroom apartments average in size approximately 500 square feet, and consist of a large bedroom, with single or king-size beds and double futons or sofa beds to accommodate up to 4 guests, a dressing room, a bathroom and a fully-loaded kitchen. The 7th one-bedroom apartment, alternately, is outfitted with a patio ideal for outdoor dining and relaxation.

Two Bedroom Suites

All rooms have ceiling fans and air-conditioning, and include a fully-loaded kitchen, washroom with shower, and private patio ideal for dining and leisure.

Location

The Legend borders on the popular Mullins Beach - a magnificent stretch of white sand shore with its clear, turquoise Caribbean water. Mullins Beach offers something for everyone, a secluded escape for lovers, a tranquil haven for sun-worshippers, or the perfect family fun get-away for avid beachgoers.

Choose to lay back with a good book and lap up the warm, tropical sun, or take part in a complete range of water sports including jet skiing, water skiing, banana boat rides, tube rides, speedboat tours and catamaran excursions. Mullins is also a great place for snorkelling and scuba diving, windsurfing and parasailing, or join in a friendly game of beach cricket or volleyball.

Mullins Beach Bar, at the heart of Mullins, is an ideal choice for lunch. Rent a beach chair and umbrella, and opt for restaurant and bar service directly on the beach. Just around the corner, south of Mullins is an idyllic spot for picnics, and a short walk to Gibbs Bay - a secluded West Coast cove, where you can enjoy a long stroll along the beach, collect shells, or simply lay back and gaze at a breathtaking sunset.
