For this we will see the Arrábida Convent and the Lapa de Santa Margarida, among others, before reaching the historical centre of Setúbal. To end this experience you will be taken to a very rare restored Tide Mill. Built in 1601, it is undoubtedly a piece of industrial archaeology, a real testimony of medieval engineering expertise.

Learn about their traditional way of life before having your lunch in Setúbal, one of the more emblematic fishing cities. After crossing Lisbon's old bridge, head to Fonte da Telha Beach, home to an old fishing village. Learn about the fishermen’s traditional way of life and different fishing techniques on a beach surrounded by cliffs and pine forests. Later on, travel along the coast to the Arrábida Mountain Range where you can see the breathtaking views of the Sado estuary, which is listed as one of the most beautiful bays of the world.
Head north from Lisbon you will visit 2 of the region´s famous, but small wine cellars. You will taste and discover historic and rare wines, one of them though to be long extinct in Portugal. Get to know the local’s history and taste their produced olive oil and traditional bread. Leaving Lisbon, you will reach Cheleiros, an old parish dated back to 1304. Here lived some of the first prehistoric communities and was home to many past civilizations, mainly Roman. In this historic village you will have a chance to taste some of the region´s wines, like those produced by ManzWines - a small local producer. With the wish of reviving the wine activity of the region, this family uses traditional Portuguese grape varieties.
Did you know that it’s possible to see wild bottlenose dolphins not far from Lisbon? Heading south from Lisbon, you will discover one of the 10 most beautiful bays in the world, explore a natural park and a region very well known for its wines and cheese. In Setúbal you’ll board a fully restored salt galleon for a relaxing and enjoyable cruise in the Sado Estuary, where you’ll learn about the resident bottlenose dolphins and hopefully be able to observe wild dolphins in their natural environment.
