A Personalized Experience - Home Away From HomePirates Point Resort is a unique and small 10 room resort that caters to divers and dining in a relaxed "homey" atmosphere. Why dive or be in a crowd when you can be catered to and experience only up to 20 guests at a time at their resort.
Pirate Point's dive operation is one of their best features since they cater to the divers who stay at the resort. They put as many guides in the water as needed to make sure everyone has a great experience. They keep the dive groups small with only 4-6 people in a guided dive, or guests are welcome to do their own dive.. They have the best in water ratio of divers to dive instructors on the island.
Pirates Point Resort is known for their homemade breads and desserts done daily and the use of fresh products for the meals. The chefs put out meals that will leave guests full and talking about them for awhile, even after they leave. Guests can even take a cookbook and apron home to try and re-enact the meals, or join them next year.
The bar at the resort is funky and fun. It is decorated with driftwood signs that guests have actually made and entered into Pirate Point's yearly sign contest. The winner gets a free package to come back to see Pirates Point! Since there is no bartender, the guests make themselves at home in the bar. Patrons can choose to be on an all inclusive package or they can keep an honor bar tab to add at the end of their stay.
The whole experience leaves guests feeling like they are a part of their family. Impressively, 80% of Pirates Point's guests are repeat customers ... and most of them don’t want to leave.
