Guests can choose from 2 private cabanas, or a variety of private rooms with either a single, double or twin beds. The hammock is just outside the door to relax in the beautiful breeze coming off the Caribbean sea!
The Cultural house is perfect for groups up to 6 people and was built the Garifuna way, with Palmetto sticks and thatch. This traditional way of the building makes it very cool, and dry even in a hurricane. It has a full kitchen with everything you need to create your own meals. The room includes a Casablanca ceiling fan, 3 beds with mosquito netting, a pull-out futon, a double bed in the new loft private bath, hot & cold showers outside. Free bikes and WIFI. On property surveillance cameras, room alarms, lockbox, and security bars on windows.
Our Beach Cabana has a longer queen bed for the taller man, mosquito net, and fan. Your own private veranda overlooking the sea for great moonrises, and sunsets. Not to mention making great memories! Watch for manatees and dolphins. Well equipped kitchen, with full-size refrigerator, and 6 burner stove to cook your own meals. Has a private bathroom. LOVE NEST | Room designed to look like a ship with porthole windows that look out to the sea. The room is located on the beach and has a lovely breeze. Rent our canoes, $15US a day to the Lagoon just 10 mins away at the bar mouth. Hopkins best kept secret 17 miles of open water, mangrove alleyways. Paddle through the peaceful waterways while looking to see manatees, green American crocodiles, pink spoonbill flamingos, and other birds of all kinds. There is a lookout tower to climb. You will say "Oh my God" when you see the view of the Majestic Mayan mountains, the endless waterways, and the Cayes out by the reef. All in one 360degreese view. Take a tour in a spliff, or sail in a 42", or a 26' sailboat to the Cayes, stay the night or just the day. There is snorkelling, fishing, or just relax with a cold beverage and have lunch. Tours to Bread and Butter, Tobacco, and Fresh Water Cayes or to the reef. $75US a day trip.
