Welcome To Camp Cecil!
Camp Cecil is on one of the most beautiful beaches of Isla Espiritu Santo, an island in the Sea of Cortez that is part of a protected National Marine Park and a UNESCO World Site.
Camp Cecil features beautifully decorated walk-in tents with real beds, lovely linens, bedside tables, lanterns, beach towels, storage space, rugs and rugs. Espiritu Xantus Café is where our on-site chefs serve up wonderful meals with beautiful fresh ingredients, as well as daily happy hour. Camp Cecil also features two sun shower cabañas, bath towels, and two compost toilet cabañas.
You can spend each day at Camp Cecil day doing exactly what pleases you - kayaking, snorkeling, hiking, swimming with sea lions, swimming with sea turtles, stand up paddle boarding, bird watching, checking out hidden lagoons and deserted beaches, reading, napping, swimming, chillin', sipping margaritas, gazing at stars.
During your stay at Camp Cecil you will be accompanied by one of our bilingual naturalist guides so just tell him or her what you feel like doing that day and they´ll get it all organized. Our guides are all great interpretive naturalists, so not only are all the activities a total blast, but you have a font of information on everything from marine mammals, to local ecology to Mexican history and more at your disposal all day long. All Camp Cecil guides are certified Wilderness First Responders.
Camp Cecil is a perfect option for English-speaking travelers who like to enjoy the luxury of nature in comfortable lodging. The guides, chefs and housekeeping staff all speak English and do everything in their power to help you have a truly wonderful experience. All dietary restrictions can be accommodated.
