Our cabins range in size from 1 to 3 bedrooms, and each is fully furnished to offer all the comforts of home, complete with stocked kitchens, BBQ grills, air conditioning, and woodstoves. Each of our cabins has its own unique charm; some are more rustic like our 200 year old log cabin, while others offer modern luxury in a mountain setting. Guests to our cabins can also enjoy our 20' x 40' in-ground swimming pool, centrally located in a beautifully landscaped setting near the main office.
Cabin Logwood is a very unique lodging opportunity. This log cabin was built prior to the Civil War by a Confederate soldier. Logwood is our most rustic cabin, with logs exposed on the inside, wood floors, a couple of low overhead beams that you have to duck, and an antique claw foot tub (with no shower). Despite the rustic environment, Logwood is still very comfortably furnished. The bedroom is in the loft, with two double beds. Downstairs is an open room complete with fireplace and kitchen. A deck on the back overlooks the picnic table and charcoal grill down by the creek.The max occupancy is 4.
Cabin Barnwood is our largest one-bedroom cabin, with all the rooms on one level. The bedroom has a queen-size bed, and a sleep sofa for two is in the living room. This cabin has a spacious, open feel, with the living room, full kitchen, and eating area being all in one room. A small woodstove is comfortably situated between the living room and eating area. Outside of Barnwood, the picnic table and charcoal grill are located on a concrete patio. From the patio, a short path leads down to the creek, with a park bench providing a quiet setting for peaceful reflection. Max occupancy is 4.
This is a 2 bedroom Cabin. Off the grid, yet easy to find. This Virginia Mountain Cabin is a wonderfully secluded escape from the pressures of daily life. With no cell phone service and no internet, you’ll find yourself slipping into peaceful oblivion to the sounds of the babbling brook. Reconnect with family, away from the distractions of electronic devices, and return to what really matters. And don’t worry. If you need to get in touch back home, a wifi connection and a public telephone are located just across the road at the office, available 24/7. max occupancy is 6.
This is a 2 bedroom cabin. Cabin Rockwood is a very popular cabin for families with teenagers, although anyone is welcome to reserve it. The main bedroom is downstairs and contains a queen bed. The other bedroom is the loft, which contains four twin beds. The loft area can be separated into two separate rooms with a curtain. Rockwood has a deck on the front and the back of the cabin. The back deck overlooks the swimming pool.
This is a 2 bedroom cabin. Cabin Mountainwood is a comfortable two-bedroom cabin with a nice wrap-around deck and bed space for six. With spacious rooms and an open living/eating/kitchen area, the cabin has a welcoming, open feel. This cabin is all on one level. The master bedroom contains a queen-size bed, and the second bedroom has two twin beds. The living room also has a sleep sofa for overflow. Mountainwood is located within easy walking distance to the pool, yet is comfortably away and quiet. A kids' play area is an added bonus.
Cabin Edgewood is a spacious two-bedroom vacation home, featuring a deck on both the front and the back. The master bedroom contains a king-size bed, and the second bedroom has two queens. The fully furnished kitchen has all the standard appliances, including stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, and even a dishwasher. No need to bring along pots and pans, as you’ll find them in the cabinet, along with dishes and silverware. Even dish cloths, soap, and paper towels are provided. Edgewood is our only rental with a washer and dryer inside, so you don’t have to wait on the public laundry facility at our office. A charcoal grill and outdoor fire ring provide places to cook outdoors and relax around a campfire.
Cabin Foxwood is a three-bedroom cabin located right at the entrance to Creekwood Lane. Two bedrooms have a queen-size bed, and the third has two twins. We can provide additional mats for on the floor, so Foxwood will accommodate eight. The living room, kitchen, and dining area are in one big, open area, making the cabin feel very spacious. Off the back is a deck overlooking a large grassy area, surrounded by mountain woodlands. One difference about Cabin Foxwood from the rest of our cabins is that there is no fireplace or woodstove in the cabin, simply the outdoor fire ring. The outdoor fire ring is in front of the cabin, to the left of the driveway.
A large three-bedroom two bath cabin, Oakwood is a perfect place for bigger groups. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed, along with a sleeper sofa for two. The second bedroom is equipped with a double bed, and the third also has a double bed. The living room has a large rock fireplace. The kitchen is complete with stove, refrigerator, microwave, coffeemaker, toaster, and even a dishwasher! Just off the kitchen is a sun room overlooking the creek, the fire ring, and the charcoal grill. A large covered deck is the perfect place to enjoy the sounds of the creek.
Dogwood is a very popular three bedroom two bath cabin. It is located about ½ mile from our office and swimming pool. Two of the bedrooms are downstairs, one with a queen bed and the other with two twins. The remaining bedroom is in the loft, with a king-size bed and two twins. The living room boasts a large rock fireplace. Dogwood is secluded, and has a very large deck overlooking the mountain woodlands. There is also a screened-in porch on the side.
