Our half day Athens sightseeing tour starts by visiting the imposing, naturaly fortified hill of the Acropolis. The tour includes a walk that travels the visitor through ancient times, by passing through Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and the Parthenon. From the top of the Acropolis hill you will enjoy a panoramic view of the ancient theater of Dionysos and the Herodion known as Odeion of Herodes Atticus. We continue the private tour with a visit of the Temple of Zeus and the Hadrian’s Arch, and we walk along the famous Kallimarmaron, known as well as Panathenaic Stadium, where the first modern Olympic Games were revived on 1896.

On the way to the beautiful St. George Lycabetus hill, where you will have the best view of Athens, we will make a stop at the Presidenstial Mansion, the ex-Royal Palace where you can enjoy the traditional Change of the Guards. Full day Delphi tour

A beautiful Delphi full day tour from Athens. Delphi is one of most famous sites of classical Greece. It is located in a breathtaking landscape spreading out at the foot Mt. Parnassus. It is a 229 miles (370 km) road trip from Athens city. Arrival at ancient Delphi around noon after having taken a scenic drive through mountains and fertile valleys of olive trees and fields and pass traditional towns such as Levadia and Arachova enjoying breathtaking views of the Greek countryside. Delphi was the most famous oracle of the ancient world. It was regarded as the center of the world.

Between the 6th and 4th centuries BC the Delphic oracle became internationally known for the oracular powers of Pythia, the priestess who sat on a tripod, inhaled ethylene gases and muttered incomprehensible words that foretold the future. Cities, rulers and ordinary individuals alike consulted the oracle, expressing their gratitude with great gifts and spreading its fame around the world. We will visit the temple of Athena Pronaia, the Gymnasium, the temple of the god Apollo, the sacred way, the treasury house of Athenians and the old theater. In the Museum of Delphi you can admire unique treasures such as the world famous bronze Charioteer, a masterpiece of classical Greek art. After ancient Delphi we’ll visit the modern city of Delphi where we stop for lunch in one of the traditional taverns with very scenic view in the Corinthian Golf and the city of Itea. After lunch we’ll drive back to Athens city.

Half day Canal of Corinth and Ancient Corinth tour

A half day private tour to Canal of Corinth and ancient Corinth starts by driving via the coastal highway to Peloponnese. The first stop of the tour to Corinth is the famous Canal of Corinth which connects the Ionian sea with the Aegean sea through the Isthmus, and joins Peloponnese to the Greek mainland.We will make a stop here about 20 minutes to look at the canal from the bridge and if we are lucky we might see a ship going through the isthmus. After the Canal we will continue our interesting tour to reach our main destination, the Ancient Corinth.

A visit to the Archaeological Museum which is known for its beautiful amphorae will impress you and the view from our last visit to Acrocorinthos or “Upper Corinth”, the Acropolis of Ancient Corinth, will be one of the best memories from our tour. There are the ruins of the Temple of Aphrodite and of many churches the view from there is spectacular .Acrocorinth is one of the most important medieval castle sites of Greece.After Acrocorinth You may have your lunch at ancient Corinth before we take the way back in Athens.

Full day Argolis tour

A very interesting full day tour to explore Argolis! The tour starts by driving via the coastal highway to Peloponnese.On the way we’ll see the Saronic Golf and the island of Salamina that became the sea fight between Persians and Greeks at 480 BC .The first stop of the tour to Argolis, is the famous Canal of Corinth .Short stop there to take photos and if we are lucky we might see a sailing boat going through the Isthmus. After canal in about fifteen minutes we are going to Ancient Corinth.

In Ancient Corinth you will see the temple of Apollo (the God of Oracles and the Sun) , the Theater, the Roman Odeon ,the Glauke fountain ,the Vima (step) from where St. Paul preached to the Corinthians in 52 A.D. and finally the Lechaion street . A visit to the Archaeological Museum which is known for its beautiful amphorae will impress you. We continue our tour through the farmland of Nemea . we’ll see olive trees and vineyards and after thirty minutes driving we’ll reach to the famous Mycenae, which was the Kingdom of King Agamemnon and see the Lion’s Gate and the Agamemnon Grave, the Archaeological museum and the Cyclopean Walls. After Mycenae We will visit the beautiful Nafplio, a really romantic seaside town, the first capital of Greece until 1834. The old town has classic stonebuilt buildings and picturesque streets. There a stop for a traditional Greek lunch is a must. After the lunch break, we will head to the Palamidi fortress, in Acronafplia.

The last destination to visit before the way back to Athens, is the Ancient Theater of Epidauros which was built in 4 B.C. very known in antiquity for the temple of Asklipios the god of medicine.. The whole archaeological area is impressive, and you will admire the acoustic of the famous Theater of Epidaurus and also the meuseum.The theatre is used today by Greek actors who perform various ancient Greek plays. After a long day to Peloponnese tour ends with a drive back to Athens.
