Best in Value Soufriere
Resort in Soufriere, St. Lucia
This winner of our Best in Value Soufriere for 2013, La Haut Resort is found on the grounds of a 100 year old former coconut and cocoa estate dating back over a century. While the rich aroma of roasting cocoa beans no longer wafts along the breezes, the estate still enjoys the perfume scented salty trade winds that blow off the Caribbean Sea.

Oprah Winfrey described the Pitons of Soufriere, St Lucia as a: “Must see in your lifetime” La Haut literally means "the height" in Patois, a French dialect that is commonly spoken by St. Lucians. The La Haut Resort sits on a hill overlooking Soufriere, one of the oldest towns in St Lucia.
